- ESC will have a special afternoon of in person worship, testimony and prayer together on August 22nd at 2:30 in the church courtyard. Please join us in worship and fellowship together!
- Today (Aug. 8) at 4pm Journey Fellowship will meet both at the church’s (courtyard / Fellowship Hall if it is raining) and via zoom for those who wants to join virtually. We will be watching a lecture from Regents’ Summer Series by Gordon Smith, entitled “Communities of Hope: Sustaining Hopeful Resilience”. Followed with a lively discussion of the lecture together.
- For those who have not claimed their anniversary gifts of church umbrella and face masks and still wish to do so, please call or email the church office and we will put them on hold for you to pick up while they are still available.
- News from VCEFC Critical Response Team (Update July 25, 2021)
- Awana registration has started, and the deadline is Sunday September 5th. Instructions are on the church website’s Awana page.
- Learning as a Community: Reminder that there is a special video lecture series in session and will continue throughout the summer term (June – August). This year, we will be learning together as a community with Professor Eugene Peterson in a course entitled “Tell It Slant: Parables as Spiritual Direction.” This class will meet every Sunday at 11:30 on Zoom. More information and zoom link is on the church’s website.
- One of the highlights of Regent College’s Summer Programs is their free Evening Public Lectures. This series always features a wide range of professors and topics, and this year is no exception. All lectures will be streamed online, so invite a friend and join us in learning together! - Reminder that we have small groups and fellowships for all ages and life stages, from teens through college, adults and career, all the way to retired seniors. - Cornelius Fellowship is made up of members of ESC who have reached or are close to retirement (age 60 and up). Our programs include Bible study, discussion on topics relevant to our stage of life, taking urban walks, etc. The Fellowship meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 2:00PM. - ONLINE OFFERING: As our church has temporary suspended all gatherings and moved our weekly worship services online during the COVID-19 pandemic, you have the option to give your offering through Interac e-transfer. - The PSC is thankful that they continue to enjoy the spirit of unity and wisdom.
