    • Adult Fellowship: Sunday July 25 around 5 pm at Norquay Park. Fellowship outdoor get together. More information will be at the church Adult fellowship page.
    • In light of the discovery of over a thousand unmarked graves of indigenous children at the sites of former residential schools and role the Catholic church and the government played in this tragic part of our country’s history, what should the Christian response be and how does the Bible speak into this? On July 25th @ 4pm on Zoom, Journey Fellowship will have a special guest speaker to share with us from the prospective of a First Nation Christian. Temera Williams Millar has a Masters of Divinity from ACTS seminary at TWU, and is now currently the recruitment director at North America Indigenous Ministries. This is open to everyone who is interested in learning more about this topic.
    • Awana registration has started, and the deadline is Sunday September 5th. Instructions are on the church website’s Awana page.
    • The Chinese Congregations will have their Missions Conference on Friday July 16th at 7:30pm and on July 18th’s Sunday service. This year’s theme is “Ask the Lord of the Harvest” and the guest speaker is Reverend Philip Leung. The conference is in Cantonese and Mandarin only.     • Learning as a Community: Reminder that there is a special video lecture series in session and will continue
      throughout the summer term (June – August). This year, we will be learning together as a community with Professor Eugene Peterson in a course entitled “Tell It Slant: Parables as Spiritual Direction.”
      This class will meet every Sunday at 11:30 on Zoom. More information and zoom link is on the church’s website.
    • One of the highlights of Regent College’s Summer Programs is their free Evening Public Lectures. This series always features a wide range of professors and topics, and this year is no exception. All lectures will be streamed online, so invite a friend and join us in learning together!     • Cornelius Fellowship is made up of members of ESC who have reached or are close to retirement (age 60 and up). Our programs include Bible study, discussion on topics relevant to our stage of life, taking urban walks, etc. The Fellowship meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 2:00PM.
