• COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS: Click Here

    • After over 6-month of searching, waiting and praying, the Church Board is pleased to announce that Ms. Rebecca Kwong, a native of Winnipeg, has accepted the position of Administrator of our Church. Rebecca comes to us with a wealth of administrative experiences—over a period of 20 years, 9 of which as an administrative staff of an evangelical local church. She will be responsible for the operations of the Administration Department: the administrative, maintenance, and janitorial services. Her official start date before mid-July is still under consideration. Please offer her your warmest welcome when you meet her early in July.
    • Over the years, we have been blessed by her faithful service,  love and kindness towards the people of this church.  On behalf of the Church Board, I am here to announce that Pastor Wai Mui Wong has indicated her intention to retire sometime in early 2022.  She has kindly given us some time to prepare and she will help to ensure a smooth transition.  Let us rejoice together in gratitude in all that she has done and will continue to do in her future days.  More details will be provided at a later date.

    • Learning as a Community: Like last year (2020), our regular Sunday school curriculum will be interrupted by a special lecture series during this summer term (June – August). This year, we will be learning together as a community at the feet of the late Professor Eugene Peterson. The title of this 12-week course is “Tell It Slant: Parables as Spiritual Direction.” Eugene Peterson was Professor Emeritus of Spiritual Theology at Regent College. He has written numerous books in the areas of pastoral theology and spiritual theology. This course will begin on June 6, at 11:30 on Zoom. More information and zoom link will be on the church’s website.
    • One of the highlights of Regent College’s Summer Programs is their free Evening Public Lectures. This series always features a wide range of professors and topics, and this year is no exception. All lectures will be streamed online, so invite a friend and join us in learning together!
